Did you know if you like a Republican you will be tested?

I read, hear and listen to the complaints that Fox News is biased. After watching that video above what do you think about MSNBC and Nora O'Donnell? Those people were just standing in line wanting to get a book about SARAH PALIN and they were grilled to defend their reasons for liking her. They were asked to DEFEND why they believed in her and she even had a handy dandy quote ready for that poor young girl. I don't care if she was 13 or 17, she was no match for a seasoned (that is polite way of calling Nora Old) reporter. The gentleman did a better job.

Even Nora's commentary and that is what it was at the end, a commentary, was in appropriate about Sarah's followers. Stating these people have a connection even though they can't be specific about HER issues is wrong. She can't state that with any certainty. Her research is anecdotal at best.

I guess I must have missed the Media examining Obama followers making sure their connection to him was all about the issues and please let's make sure they grill those teenagers because the non-voters are so important.

But, more important standing there with note cards and direct quotes against a teenager, well, that is just an ambush.

Anyways, I am glad we believe we have ONLY ONE STATION THAT IS BIASED, OH YOU KNOW THE STATION THE PRESIDENT SAID AMERICANS SHOULD NOT WATCH. HM., MAKES YOU WONDER????

The Media Only Shows One Side

This is a very personal post from Lucy. I have mentioned to my family that I write on this blog and they giggle like you would not believe. Why? Well, because years ago my family referred to me as a "BLEEDING HEART LIBERAL". Therefore, you must be wondering what has happened to me over the years? I will be honest, I'm not sure I am as Conservative as all the writers on this blog but I definitely lean more to the Conservative side than Liberal. I have never been for BIG GOVERNMENT, EVER. I HAVE NEVER BEEN FOR SOCIALISM AND I BELIEVE WE GET CLOSER AND CLOSER TO THAT WITH EACH DEMOCRATIC ADMINISTRATION.

I have believed in some Government programs and have always wished for reform in those programs but I now believe in my heart that those days are probably gone, reform is now being replaced with GOVERNMENT TAKEOVER, SOCIALISM.

Now, I am personally faced with watching and dealing with out & out 'poor people' milking the GOVERNMENT just because they don't want to work. I am currently offering shelter to my 59 year old cousin who about 5 years ago decided he didn't want to work anymore. HE IS NOT HOOKED ON DRUGS , AN ALCOHOLIC, BI-POLAR AND ON AND ON. No, he had always worked but overtime he just got sick of it and decided he was to old. He didn't prepare for retirement so he became homeless. We have given him money three times. My brother has forked over money once. Another cousin took him in and his sister who lives off of the GOVERNMENT TOOK HIM IN AND TRIED TO GET HIM ALL SET UP ON GOVERNMENT SUPPORT BUT HE WOULD NOT FOLLOW THROUGH, IT TOOK TOO MUCH EFFORT.

This cousin is currently living at my home. He gets up, eats my food, watches television all day while my husband and I work and then when we come home he wants to chit chat with us all night. He is claiming this time he has hurt his back (not sure how since he was not working or in a car wreck, he thinks it might be a latent injury. What?) and needs to 'rest' and hopes to be on his feet in a couple of weeks. A week has gone by and he told us he still is not feeling too well. He has been resting for five weeks already.

Back to his sister. His sister and her daughter currently live off the Government and have for years. Her daughter has never worked a day in her life, she is 27 years old. She was in a car accident and claimed she has a 'bad back' and she has mental problems. Those are the reasons we have been given for her disability. Although, when they are with the family all we hear is how intelligent this young girl is and how she spends all her time on the computer and she knows everything. They live in GOVERNMENT HOUSING. THEY HAVE CABLE, INTERNET, LAPTOPS, CELLPHONES AND ON AND ON AND REMEMBER THEY DO NOT WORK.

WE PAY FOR IT!!!! I guess this is what makes me stop being a BLEEDING HEART LIBERAL. Three people that can work. They choose not to work. Two people working the system getting everything from the GOVERNMENT BUT WE THE PEOPLE ARE THE GOVERNMENT. THE HARD WORKING AMERICANS THAT PAY TAXES LET MY TWO COUSINS WATCH TELEVISION AND PLAY ON THEIR COMPUTERS ALL DAY. MY THIRD COUSIN IS WORKING ON GETTING ON THE SYSTEM TOO. HE CURRENTLY GETS FOOD STAMPS AND MEDICAL CARE. IN THE MEAN TIME HE IS MOOCHING OFF OF ME.

Oh, yes, I will hear, "You, can't let these stories ruin it for the people who need it." BULL!! It is these stories that need to be focused on by the media so we get REFORM!!! Those are the people who need to be forced off of the system and give then there will be money to help the ones who really need it.

Think about it, if those three capable people people were working and paying into the system, well, gee, the GOVERNMENT WOULD HAVE A LITTLE MORE MONEY!

I will do another post on my cousins philosophy why they won't work for $8.00 or even $12.00 an hour. Bottom line, they are too good for such a low wage and they get more from the GOVERNMENT. HELLO, THEY GET MORE FROM US HARD WORKING AMERICANS.

SO, YOU BLEEDING HEART LIBERALS, DO YOU WANT TO TAKE IN MY 59 YEAR OLD COUSIN? BECAUSE, REALLY, I'M SICK OF GOING TO WORK AND WATCHING HIM LAY AROUND BUT SINCE ALL OF YOU THINK IT IS O.K., I WAS THINKING MAYBE ONE OF YOU WOULD LIKE TO TAKE HIM IN?

Oh, that's right, it seems that the Conservatives are more generous in their private giving and maybe that is why I'm the idiot and I opened my door to my cousin. Therefore, at this point I'm helping to keep one more person off of the welfare plan but probably for not too much longer, he will figure he can get MORE FROM THE GOVERNMENT AND NO ATTITUDE COLLECTING THE CHECK.

Personally, I do believe families should be responsible for each other and helping family when they are down and out. Nope, not the BLEEDING HEART LIBERAL. TURN TO THE GOVERNMENT, NOT YOUR FAMILY, DON'T BOTHER FAMILY. In the end we all pay out the wazooo. Therefore, to you BLEEDING HEART LIBERAL, WHEN YOU TURN YOUR FAMILY OUT AND TELL THEM TO SIGN UP, YOU ARE PAYING AND THE MORE THAT SIGN UP FOR WELFARE THE MORE YOU ARE GOING TO PAY. HELLO!!

GO BACK AND LOOK AT THE IMAGE I USED FOR HOMELESS. THIS IS THE IMAGE THE MEDIA USES ALL THE TIME. THIS IS USED TO EVOKE SYMPATHY. THAT PERSON DOES NEED LOVE AND CARE. THE PEOPLE MILKING U.S. CITIZENS DON'T LOOK LIKE THAT AND MOST WOULD NOT GET THAT WAY IF FORCED BETWEEN WORKING OR LIVING IN A BOX!!!

The Press Attacks Palin Again

Redstate.com had an article on how CNN was about to publish a list of the 'politicians who fell from grace in 2008'. According to Todd Houston at NewsBusters.org, everyone on the list has been: "convicted of criminal actions, ... indicted for corruption, lost their positions, been drummed out of their party, or are soon to face jail time.” With the only exception being Sarah Palin. Greta Van Susteren and conservative blogs raised such a big deal about it that CNN took Sarah off the list.

What a bunch of crooks. They take it upon themselves to gloss over or ignore real scandals like Bill Richardson's resignation from the Obama cabinet so they can focus their attacks on people who earnestly want what is best for America. As one commentor put it at Redstate.com, it is probably because they see wholesome, capable leaders as a threat to their agenda.

Why go Off Shore?

Why doesn't the media research thoroughly why companies go off shore to build plants? Oh, that's right, the media is LIBERAL. (sorry for the caps) Sometimes, the frustration overtakes my fingers. They call themselves journalist and I want to puke. But, I am digressing from my original post.

Americans are constantly informed that companies go off shore to build plants because they get the land, buildings and people all super cheap. Actually, they insinuate that these companies go to other countries and 'rip' the other countries off big time. Whatever. Who determines the rip off numbers? Just because it would cost more here does not mean they are 'ripping' the other country off. The United States was founded on capitalism and therefore companies have a right to look out for their interest.
It is up to the United States and the American people to make it worthwhile for companies to want to invest in our country. What is preventing this?, Unions. Unions are stagnating company growth. Unions do not promote the interest for their workers anymore. At one time Unions were valuable but they are no longer needed. We have government agencies that protect worker rights. Unions are preventing worker growth. Employees feel protected by their Union and they have no incentive to get skilled and/or educated to better compete with their global competition.

Americans need to stop 'whining' about the companies. These companies have all the rights in the world to look for better opportunities. It is time for the employees to get off their bottoms and start fighting for their jobs.

Zogby Expose

A recent Zogby poll revealed how little Obama-voters knew about the actual election facts. This exposes both the failure of democrat voters to competently follow the election as well as the deception of the media.

The results show that only 12% of Obama voters knew their candidate promised to bankrupt the coal industry and send engergy prices "sky high", but 87% believed Sarah Palin claimed to see Russia from her house (which was actually said by Tina Fey).

Also, 96% of Obama voters identified Sarah Palin as having received $150,000 worth of clothes from the RNC, but 57% of them didn't know which party controlled congress (50/50 chance by guessing) and 71% didn't know Joe Biden quit a previous campaign because of his plagarism (25% by guessing).

The news media think they are entitled to pick our leaders. As Americans we need to stand up to them. Fortunately, millions of Americans are becoming wise to this. As Rupert Murdoch recently noted, the media has taken big risks in the election and subscriptions are down. Many of the major news distributors are cutting their staff dramatically. Hopefully they will be less able to influence the next election.

Personality Cult

One of the most difficult things about Obama's victory over McCain is reading these ridiculous puff pieces about him in the headlines. Time magazine has been doing this for more than two years (it's actually why I canceled my subscription).

Look at this headline from the AP (as Rush calls them, the APO -Associated Press Obama). The headline is Obama staff combines DC minds with Chicago roots.

George W. Bush was continually attacked for the Texas members of his staff (who I happen to like a lot, especially Karen Hughes, Rove, and Harriet Myers). For Obama the Chicago politicans are part of an advanced hybrid staff -or so we are spoon fed to believe.

Don't forget those AP articles comparing Obama to other great presidents who came to power 'during a time of crisis'. Foolishly I clicked on the link to read about how Roosevelt and Licoln came to power during a time of crisis, and so is Obama. (By the way, Obama is the next Roosevelt and Lincoln -just take our overeducated opinion for it).

I also read a disturbing piece this weekend saying Obama is 'obviously a student of Lincoln' for putting his former opponents on his staff (unlike the evil, Republican Nixon who would never do that). He is always compared to the most well-remembered of our presidents.

Don't forget the Washington Post has openly admitted it's bias towards Obama (See here). And two studies have shown more anti-McCain headlines than anti-Obama ads among the major news carriers (Fox News was determined to be 50/50 by Rueters or the AP, I forget which).

And now there is effort to have Obama's birthday recognized as a national holiday. They already have a President's day, but Obama deserves his own because his presidency (which hasn't started yet, and, by the way, he hasn't passed any legislation that anyone can remember) is the greatest in history.

Don't be surprised if Mr. Obama gets his face on Mount Rushmore before the inauguration.

MSNBC admitted that some of its smears against Sarah Palin turned out to be false.

It sounds like they assumed it was true because 'someone sent it to them in an email'.

Well, I think it's clear how much we can assume MSNBC reports true stories.

Democrat Reporter Admits Democrats Caused Crisis

Check out this article by Orson Scott Card where he claims the democrats are responsible for the housing crisis ... and that there is a liberal media cover up. Card himself claims to be a democrat.
