New Video Game

Micah Hoover, the guy who pays for our webhosting, has asked me to put a plug in for his new video game, Confusion.

You can download it for free from here.

The game comes in three flavors: Windows XP, Windows Vista, and OS X Leopard.

Apparently there are some cameos involving Ronald Reagan and Sarah Palin among others.

I have no idea what's going on with this game, although i'm starting to think that's the whole point. The seven tips you wrote were very entertaining, but I guess i'm not thoughtful enough to figure out how they are related to the game.

So, I ended up clicking the sideways button over and over, until I reached "beach time", which was nice and random. Are there any explanations for what bought cards do and how to use them?

Hi Tim,

Thanks for the review. I've been wondering how you would respond to it (we're probably the only two people here who would play something like this). Anyway, I posted your review at:

My favorite part was:

"I reached 'beach time', which was nice and random."

Hey Micah,

Yeah the game reminds me of a piece of existential fiction. It's hard to know what's going on, or why certain things are happening, but it's all interesting nonetheless. I'm actually a fan of weird games. Have you heard of an indie game called the path? That was very random but very cool.

I'm convinced that everything means something in this game. The cards you buy have to do something, and affect the result of the card game, but without any documentation it is impenetrable yet amusing.

Anyway, well done and keep up the different avenues of creative expression. I've always enjoyed reading the comics and pieces of fiction you do as well.
