Democrats Attack The CIA
The CIA recently issued a report showing the high-profile Democrats who accused the Bush administration knew exactly what interrogation techniques were being used.
The problem is not only that they did not object, but that they said they never heard about it.
The Democrats are now saying the CIA is a partisan organization. The headline of Manu Raju's article on the Politico is: "Democrats: CIA is out to get us".
Here's an excerpt:
“I think there is so much embarrassment in some quarters [of the CIA] that people are going to try to shift some of the responsibility to others — that’s what I think,” said Sen. Carl Levin (D-Mich.), who sat on the Senate Intelligence Committee and was briefed on interrogation techniques five times between 2006 and 2007.
He was informed of the interrogation techniques five times between two years! The Democrats picked this fight, it blew up in their faces, and now they are seething through their teeth to save face.

I didn't see this for myself but my husband said that Pelosi was trying to claim she 'knew nothing' of the torture techniques too and they pointed out to her the several Congress briefings she sat in on about the topic and my husband said that basically her response was that it wasn't really discussed. GREAT! Nice to know they had briefings to discuss the topic and then didn't discuss the topic. Then what the hell did they discuss? Sounds like someone is spinning a tail to me.
