Bailout Losing Support

Josh Painter has an excellent post on RedState.com revealing the declining support for the bailout among voters:

Only 37% of those polled now favor the Democrat’s idea of stimulus, while 43% oppose it and 20% cannot make up their minds. Just two weeks ago, 45% supported the plan. Last week, 42% favored it.

The poll source is Rasmussen.

My hope is the Republicans will realize this is an albatross they can tie around the democrats. It certainly reeks, and the voters will remember it.

Now all we need to do is make sure our representatives hear our voices. Have you called yours?

They need to know how we feel and that we aren't going to allow them to get away with anything less than doing the job of the people.
