Must Like Obama
An NBC executive recently forbid Ann Coulter from appearing on any NBC shows. This includes CNBC, MSNBC, and regular NBC. He explained his decision as follows:
Can you believe this? "We don't want a critic of Obama?" As Rush points out, the book she had been scheduled to discuss isn't about Obama. It's about bias in the news coverage!
Ann Coulter was replaced by Rachel Maddow, who wasted no time in tearing apart our current president, George W. Bush. Apparently we don't want a critic of Obama, we want a critic of George W. Bush.
Sean Hannity pointed out that NBC had no problem hosting an interview of Bill Ayers who publicly stated he wished his terrorist organization that blew up government buildings had done more. Is NBC suggesting that's the kind of criticism we need to have made?
We just don't want anybody who doesn't like Obama. We don't want a critic of Obama. This is not the time for it. This is not what the audience wants.

Sounds like I'm going to be writing to NBC and reminding them of people's freedom of speech/opinion/press/etc... Now we know not to trust NBC reporting in being unbiased. If they are going to go to the extreme of banning a person just for having an opion different than (what THEY have decided) the general public, then I don't trust them to give me unbiased news.
Yeah, it is totally biased. The dishonest part is they pretend like it is their "unbiasedness" that is forcing them to never allow Obama's critics to have the microphone. This is only going to lead to more layoffs at news organizations.
