Murder Rates
I found this piece of information from a fact-check organization interesting.
The counties that voted for Al Gore in 2000 were separated from the counties that voted for George Bush in the same election. The murder rates for these counties were aggregated and it came out to this in this:
Gore counties: 6.5 murders per 100,000 people.
Bush counties: 4.1 murders per 100,000 people.
